Free Trial Installation and SignUp

Determine your Outlook Primary Account Email Address
- If you use only one email address to send and receive email in Outlook, that is your Primary Account Email Address
- If you use more than one email address in Outlook but you are sure which is your Primary Account Email Address, use it
- To determine your Primary Account Email Address in Outlook, follow these steps in Outlook:
  - click File (main menu on top of Outlook) to open the File Menu
  - click Account Settings in the row of choices in the middle of the screen
  - click Account Settings in the next popup menu
  - Outlook lists all your email addresses and shows "(send from this account by default)" to the right of your Primary Account Email Address
Use EmailSentry Trial SignUp to signup for a free EmailSentry Trial
After completing the signup, install EmailSentry using instructions for Classic Outlook or Outlook (new outlook).
When the install completes, start Outlook
Check that EmailSentry is installed and working by sending an email to test@refusetls.checktls.com
EmailSentry will tell you that the domain refusetls.checktls.com is unsafe
Click the Cancel button to cancel the email
If any of the above does not work, Contact Us with a description of the problem and a screenshot of any message(s)

Using EmailSentry

Using EmailSentry is simple. Just send your email in Outlook the same as always. As long as every recipient is "safe", your email sends just as it always did. If one or more recipients is not "safe", the EmailSentry Stop popup appears and allows you to choose what to do. If you need an unsafe address to test, use test@refusetls.checktls.com.

Real License

The trial installs the production version of EmailSentry in Outlook. The differences between a Trial and a Real License are in the back-ends that EmailSentry utilizes:

Authentication: Trial Licenses run in a "trial license" environment that has full add-in functionality but limited back-office functionality.
Customization: All Trial Licensees share the same CheckTLS back-end settings, whereas Real Licensees can decide how many and what kinds of tests to run on an email address.
Reporting: Only Real Licensees can do compliance reporting on their user's usage, and query specific transactions to prove a message was secure long after the fact.

A Real License allows your company to tune EmailSentry to your security requirements, including disabling the "Send Anyway" button, or using it to route "unsafe" emails to a different encryption or delivery system. See EmailSentry Setup for more information.
